Expectations are high in South Bend for Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr; he opened as the +700 favorite to win the 2026 Heisman Trophy at BetMGM before falling to +750. The Fighting Irish currently have +650 odds to win the national championship, tied for the second-best odds with Texas — and right behind favorite Ohio State at +600.

Texas QB Arch Manning (+750) is the Heisman co-favorite, followed by Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss (+900) and Oregon QB Dante Moore (10-1).

Superstar Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith has the best odds for any non-QB at 12-1.
