Colo-Colo, which was founded in 1925, has won the Liga de Primera 34 times, the Copa Chile 14 times and the Copa Libertadores once, among numerous honors. They are currently on pace for another league title as they sit 13 points ahead of Club Deportivo Universidad CatΓ³lica atop the table.

Vozinha made his mark quickly during Cape Verde’s first-ever World Cup. During the team’s opening match draw against eventual-champion Spain, he made seven saves and became the oldest goalkeeper to record a shutout in a tournament debut. That performance made him a worldwide name, which resulted in his Instagram following skyrocketing from roughly 50,000 followers to nearly 14 million.

As of Saturday morning, that total is now at 29.5 million.

In helping the debutants to a third straight group-stage draw and a place in the knockout round, Vozinha recorded his second clean sheet of the tournament with three saves against Saudi Arabia.

That set up a Round of 32 clash with Lionel Messi and reigning champion Argentina., in what was one of the matches of the tournament, Vozinha stopped eight shots, including four on Messi during a 3-2 defeat that ended Cape Verde’s memorable run.
