A miserable season for the New York Mets may have just gotten worse.

Juan Soto left the Mets’ 4-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday during the sixth inning with soreness in his left calf. Soto batted twice in the game and drew two walks before leaving for pinch-hitter Jorge Polanco.

Following the game, Mets manager Andy Green told reporters (including ESPN’s Jorge Castillo) Soto will undergo an MRI exam on his left calf on Saturday. He conceded that the star outfielder could go on the injured list.

This story will be updated with more information.
