Packers reportedly signing DT Devonte Wyatt to 3-year, $57 million extension
The Green Bay Packers are reportedly signing DT Devonte Wyatt to a three-year, $57 million extension, per ESPN's Ian Rapoport.
Wyatt’s deal includes a $20 million signing bonus. He is headed into the last year of his rookie contract, set to play on the fifth-year option that the Packers picked up. He is now tied to Green Bay through the 2029 season.

The Packers selected him with the 28th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Over the last four years, he has played in 57 games and tallied 101 tackles and 16 sacks.
Wyatt’s 2025 ended early. He suffered an ankle injury early in the year that caused him to miss two games. The defensive tackle returned, but suffered a fractured fibula and torn ligaments in his ankle in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions, ending his season.
Before getting hurt, Wyatt had tallied 27 total tackles, including four sacks.
Wyatt will now be the foundation of the Packers’ defensive line while it waits for Micah Parsons to return this season. Parsons is still recovering from a torn ACL and is expected to miss the beginning of the 2026 season. The star linebacker said he is on track to return in October.
Without Parsons, Wyatt is expected to be joined at the start of the season by Karl Brooks, Javon Hargrave and Lukas Van Ness on the defensive line.
The veteran Hargrave (33) was signed to a two-year deal worth $23 million this offseason. Last year, with the Minnesota Vikings, he played in 16 games and had 52 tackles, including 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
